Chapter 28:

His mind was being invaded by this part of his memory.

Or… was this what his heart wanted him to remember?

To keep his own words in mind.

“Well… it’s not easy. I mean, not easy to find one whom I can at least place my trust on. So, there is no point for me to grab any random person to fall in love with, right? Like what Kei has said, if there is this right person for me, I am sure when he… or she turns up, I will know and I will try my best to achieve the love I deserves.”

So, has this person turned up? Has the person whom Kazuya could place his absolute trust and love on, appeared?

Now I’m still confused being here in this room without you…

But, I have become a tad stronger.

A small voice in the back of his head strikes a chord at him, reminding the baffled Kazuya who exactly in this world he loves the most.

‘Yes, I think you did found…’

I am able to stumble my way to you because I believe in myself.

If you pursue your way, you will get your answer.

Now, Kazuya definitely understood one more thing. And that is ‘love always happens when you least expect it’. Therefore, now… Kazuya knew.

He has fallen in love.

Fallen in love with Jin.

Fallen hard in love for Jin.

I have found the answer to which I did not realize it was here all along.

‘I love you’ has urges me on…

Before Jin has crossed his path, barged into his life, Kazuya had never known how it was like to be loved and how to love. Ever since he was born and became sensible, he knew his heart was frozen. His heart was being locked up. He only knew that he can survive till now was because his heart is constantly being kept warm by his two dear friends, Yamapi and Keita. But now, he found his worthy source for living.

His source of breathing.

His only source of happiness.

That was Jin. The pure angel who captured his heart…

His Jin.

The thought of living for someone else has never come across in my mind before.  

But I have finally found something so precious, so dear to me for the very first time in my life.

He knew it. He sorted it out. He knew what he wanted.

Is it alright for this imperfect me to fall in love with the perfect you?

The next issue on hand was how should he let Jin know what he wanted? He would ponder about that some time later. Now, the point is to clear up all the mess and make sure Jin is comfortable with speaking and talking to him at ease like before. Everything must resume.

Yes, he’s going to do just those.

Kazuya gave a satisfied sigh and shut his eyes, finally allowing slumber to overtake him. Kazuya believed that as long as he bears hope within his heart, tomorrow will await.

He would leave everything to Fate.

We don’t know what will be waiting for us at our final destination.

But you will certainly notice that love is always by our side.

“YATTA! We made it! KAME, WE MADE IT!” Yamapi squealed vividly while forcing a tight hug on Kazuya who was also grinning from ear to ear. “Yes! We made it! Jin!” Kazuya motioned for Jin who was standing a few steps away from them, to join in their hug.

Jin was laughing madly because he, Akanishi Jin, actually did pass all the examinations and excuse me, with good grades too. Of course, he felt proud for himself! Most importantly, he had to thank Yamapi and Kazuya for their great help. Without them, he would most probably be sulking and crying his heart out for his failure somewhere in a dark corner today.

Apparently, today was the big day which they would be receiving their examination results slips. And they had made it successfully and were officially announced that they were graduating. There was definitely a need to call for a celebration.

The three broke off the group hug and Jin was the first one to speak.

“Ne, Kame, Pi, really, a big thank-you to you two for teaching and guiding me uncomplainingly all these time. If not, I don’t think I will be able to make it this time.” Jin finished off spontaneously with a formal bow.

“Jin~ come on! We are friends! It’s only right to help you~” Yamapi slung his arm over Jin’s shoulder. “Ne, Kame-chan?”

“Yeah, Pi’s right. And Jin, you really did a good job this time! This is also due to your own effort, not just mainly because of us.” Kazuya assured, flashing Jin his radiant smile.

“Yeah, I felt surprised with myself too when I saw the grades.” Jin giggled, showing his happiness clearly.

‘Luckily, I wasn’t affected by certain things back then.’ Jin stroked softly at his clothed left chest a few times, a sign to praise himself. “Anyway, congratulations to both of you too!” Jin then shouted.

“YES! Congratulations for our graduation!” Yamapi echoed.

“Hai! Congratulations! Hey, let’s go back to my house for a celebration, how about that? I will ask the chefs to prepare a feast for us. We deserve this afterall.” Kazuya exclaimed.

“YATTA! Let’s go!” Yamapi shouted and bounced his right fist into the air. “KON!”

“Pi! You are TOO excited. TOO loud.” Kazuya reprimanded in aggravation while pretending to dig his right pinky finger into his right ear to emphasize his point.

Yamapi set to pull Kazuya along with him and started jogging towards Kazuya’s personalized car.

‘I’m glad that Jin seemed to be over with the unhappiness… I hope things will get well for us, probably starting from tonight if possible…’

“Pi! PI! Stop pulling me! Where’s Jin?” Kazuya twisted his head left and right a few times, trying to locate where Jin was.

Yamapi immediately let go of Kazuya and joined Kazuya in searching for Jin too.

“Jin!” Kazuya saw Jin still stood rooted to their original place, looking spellbound. He immediately set his pace and ran back to Jin.

“Why are you still standing here? Are you joining us?” Kazuya unconsciously tugged on Jin’s arm. Jin obviously noticed this ministration and was taken aback.

‘OH GOD! He’s grabbing on my arm! YAAA!!!’

But his expression had betrayed him. He was grinning absurdly while staring down at Kazuya’s hand still on his arm.

‘Why is Jin smiling like this…?’ Kazuya thought to himself.

“BAKANISHI!” Yamapi smacked Jin on his head, successfully pulling Jin out from his trance.

“Ouch! That hurts!” Jin whined.

“How long do you want us to wait for you to finish your daydreaming?!” Yamapi chided.

Jin rubbed on his abused head and pouted. “Sorry…”

“Jin… Come on… ” Kazuya tugged on Jin’s arm and started pulling gently. “Let’s go… will ask the chefs to prepare your favorite pasta.” Kazuya presented a gentle smile.

“Hai!” Jin beamed childishly and gave Kazuya a big grin. “Oh! And Kame~”

“Yes?” Kazuya stopped walking and turned back to look at Jin expectantly.

‘Did he realize… Will he ask me to release his arm?’

“Do remember to get your chefs to prepare the desserts and food you love too! Especially squid ne. Not just ours…” Jin said thoughtfully.

“…Hai!” Kazuya chuckled.

‘He’s such a nice and sweet person! He still remembers to remind me those…’

The posh car halted in front of Kamenashi’s residence and the three friends hopped down happily and raced all the way into the house playfully.

“Young Master! Don’t dash around in the residence’s compound!” Mr. Watanabe reprimanded sternly when the trio reached the door. “And, good day to Tomohisa-sama and Jin.”

“Ahh.. hai… I’m sorry.” Kazuya bowed and apologized instantly, though he felt extremely joyful for his action.

“Good day to you too, Mr. Watanabe and we are sorry.” Yamapi and Jin said in unison and bowed simultaneously.

“It’s alright. So may I ask why the three of you are in such an elated mood?”

“Mr. Watanabe! We are graduating soon! We have just received our result grades, we had made it!” Kazuya exclaimed just like a kid who would show his perfect marks he got for a test to his parents.

“I’m glad to hear this. I am sure Mr. and Mrs. Kamenashi will feel pleased and proud of you too.”

“Ahh… I think so…” Kazuya’s voice got softened.

“Young Master, shall we hold a celebration party tonight then?” Mr. Watanabe clearly understood why Kazuya reacted like this; hence, he changed the topic lest the atmosphere would solidify.

“Of course! That is why Jin and Pi came back with me too, are the chefs around? I wanted to inform them now of what dishes we will like to have tonight. I am sure they need ample time to prepare them.”

“Yes, they are around. I am sure they need plenty of time because there must be a lot of dishes to prepare for.” Mr. Watanabe answered in mirroring Kazuya’s question.

Jin and Yamapi smiled awkwardly and bowed again.

“Okay, I will give you the list later. Jaa, we will go to my room first. When it’s done, do inform us again.” Kazuya instructed.

“Yes I will, Young Master.”

The trio had just wanted to retreat towards the direction of staircase before Kazuya turned back and called out. “Oh right, Mr. Watanabe?”

“Yes?” Mr. Watanabe answered softly.

“Are we allowed to… drink alcoholic drinks tonight?” Kazuya asked timidly.

“Well… I will inform Mr. and Mrs. Kamenashi and see what they have to say.”

“Okay…” Kazuya was just about to turn back and continued his way when Mr. Watanabe took a hold of his shoulders gently.

“Young Master, I have forgotten to inform you that Keita-sama is waiting for you in your room.” Mr. Watanabe spoke out softly.

“Kei!?” Kazuya shouted inadvertently and caught the attention of Yamapi and Jin’s.

“Yes. He’s back.”

“Thank you, Mr. Watanabe!” With this, Kazuya sprinted up the stairs, dragging along with him, a confused Jin and an excited Yamapi.
