Summary: Their love journey has been through a lot of ups and downs stretched through the years. Broke-up, getting back together, leaving again to only return with regrets, just how many ups and downs should they encounter in total to attain the real happiness? 


 

Chapter 4:

Enjoyable moments always passed by in a lightning speed.

Another half a year went by in a wink of an eye.

At Jin’s apartment, Kame and Jin were sitting comfortably on the couch side by side, with Kame leaning his head on Jin’s right shoulder. They sipped at their cups of rose tea while watching random TV shows.

While leaning comfortably on Jin’s shoulder with Jin wrapping his right arm over Kame’s neck and playing with his hair absentmindedly, Kame started to feel really relax and free. Free of stress, free of pressure and free of tension from work. It was proven to be too comfortable for Kame, as he closed his eyes slowly and letting his mind to wander off. 

Kame couldn't believe that all had gone well till now. Jin and he were still as loving and doting as usual. He was always being pampered with lots and lots of Jin’s love and concern. He looked up at his lover’s face who was slouching beside him. He gave a small smile, directed more to himself than to Jin when he saw his lover twisting his head to cast a short curious look back at him.

As he caught a glimpse of the turtle earring Jin wore on his left ear, he felt butterflies fluttering in a magical pattern around his heart. Jin told him that he had this turtle earring custom-made as it symbolizes Kame whenever he was not around Jin. It was a pair and Kame owned the other twin. Simple thing like this made Kame felt blissful. Things had really been excellent.

Just then, he smiled even wider when he remembered how they transmitted their silent messages to one another overtly through messages in the 24hours TV show two weeks ago. The theme of that year’s was ‘kizuna’.

Bond.

A thing Kame has always believed in.

A thing he believed that it existed specially and strongly between Jin and him. Bond exists between everyone, but between Jin and him, it’s like the bond existed because of Fate.

He recollected part of Jin’s message that was relayed in front of everybody in the show.

“Through this 24hours TV show, I have come to realize the importance of the relationship between people and saying ‘thank-you’ to them. That is why I hope all of you can feel the importance of bond between the people you love and yourself.” He cast a glance at Kame who stood beside him, listening attentively.

He smiled to himself, feeling utmost elated that Jin recognized and appreciated the meaning of ‘bond’. It may seem like a normal topic to everyone, but he himself being inside that state of affair, understood it the most.

Jin was referring to that bond, their bond. In a way, he was ‘guiding’ everyone to learn to treasure and protect any bonds they have been connected to. Good job, Jin.

Then he recollected Jin’s messages to all the members of KAT-TUN, he being the last. And Kame wondered seriously, why.

“To Kamenashi. While filming the drama Gokusen 2 at the location set, there were many co-workers whom I do not know. Thus, I was really happy and relieved having Kamenashi being at the same set with me.” Kame understood Jin’s another implication of those words. He meant ‘I really want you by my side, no matter what we are doing, no matter where we are.’ They already knew one another’s real intention by heart.

Kame had always wanted to tell Jin the same thing too. He himself was feeling unsure and nerve wrecking too, being finally getting down to work on his first drama, casting that 3 nen B gumi Kinpachi Sensei drama he acted when he first joined JE aside, so Gokusen drama indeed was the first drama for him. However, he felt relieved that, Jin was with him in Gokusen. Jin was constantly and would constantly be with him. That made him heaved a sigh of relief.

“I think people will bound to encounter sadness or difficulties as life goes on, but please, don’t ever shed a tear, because there will be smiles waiting for you. Thank you for everything, by Akanishi Jin.” Standing beside Jin right at the side of the stage, in front of millions and millions of audiences, Kame felt terribly touched by Jin’s message. At that particular moment, he knew it.

Jin was the one for him.

Kame chuckled to himself unconsciously in a dreaming manner. Unbeknownst to him, Jin was looking down at him amusingly.

Kame then recollected about what he had replied to Jin’s message in request from one of the hosts.

Jin turned and stared at Kame for a second before turning his gaze quickly back to the front.

“With Akanishi, we indeed do a lot of things together. Each time, there will be either some difficulties or beautiful, nice moments. He’s the only member whom I have got to experience a lot of those moments together with. So when problems arise, we will tell each other about it and discuss for solutions. Usually when matters are important, we will bring it up, talk about it and work things out together. This is a way of deepening our relationship as well. Therefore, I hope we can always motivate each other in a certain way and carry on with what we have always been doing.”

Kame knew Jin was listening to his wholehearted reply and he knew Jin would understand the real intention of his whole answer.

Words left unsaid, will eventually still be heard.

“Why are you smiling to yourself, Kazu? You looked stupid doing that.” Jin’s voice broke off Kame’s reverie.

But Kame heard it nevertheless. He lifted his head off Jin’s shoulders, sat up and pouted grumpily at Jin. Then he realized that the television was already turned off.

“What?” Jin chuckled.

“You are saying I am stupid.” Kame continued to jab his lower lip out.

“But… it’s true especially when you are smiling like an idiot there.” Jin pointed out.

“Jin! How dare you! You called me an idiot?” Kame shouted in disbelief.

“Well, I think I did.” Jin answered playfully.

Kame did not reply and only turned his position slightly, back facing Jin instead.

“Hey… don’t be a whiny. I’m sorry.” Jin pulled slightly on Kame’s left shoulder.

“No. You will not be forgiven.”

“Then what can I do to make you appeased and forgive me?”

“Nothing.”

“Nothing?” Jin repeated after Kame.

“Nothing.” Kame affirmed.

“Really? Nothing at all?” Jin placed a simple kiss at the back of Kame’s neck.

“N-nothing. Yes, nothing!” Kame nodded his head in absolute confidence.

However, that tinge of confidence soon faded into the air like nothing when Jin wrapped his arms around Kame’s waist from behind and pulled the younger man backwards into his embrace.

Kame squealed and chuckled.

“What?” Jin asked amusedly. “Am I forgiven already?”

“NO!” Kame shouted while chuckling again, half-lying down on Jin’s broad chest.

“Alright, seems like I have to use my ultimate weapon.” Jin smirked.

Kame got curious. He tilted his head and looked up at his lover in the eyes suspiciously. “And what will that be?”

“This.” Jin leaned down and kissed Kame full on his lips. He turned Kame’s head slightly to face him fully and deepened the kiss. That supposing one chaste kiss soon turned into a long, passionate one. They only broke off when they were in need of air to breathe after seemingly a couple of minutes.

While recovering back to their normal, steady breathes, Jin whispered huskily into Kame’s ears. “Shall we?”

The meaning was clear to Kame. He nodded his head coyly and allowed Jin to carry him back into their bedroom in bridal style.

“See? I eventually made you forgave me, Kazu…” Jin smirked; feeling proud and thought that he had managed to convince Kame at the same time. He placed Kame down on the bed and hovered over him sexily.

Jin leaned down and started to shower Kame with light, fluffy kisses on his jaws then moved on to nibble softly on his neck, trying to mark new love bites there.

“Jin…” Kame moaned lightly. “Didn’t you know that ‘forgiveness is the sweetest revenge’?” With that, Jin pulled up to look at Kame curiously. Now, its Kame’s turn to smirk and giggled. He challenged Jin with an arch of his eyebrows, “You know that?”

Jin did not answer and only stared at Kame with narrower eyes for a few moments longer. So, Kame leaned up from the bed and pecked Jin on the lips, winking seductively at him. “So?”

“So… that’s it, enough of talking, will you? I think we have got more important things to do now…” Jin snapped playfully and leaned down to kiss Kame on his lips passionately again to which Kame responded equally feverishly.
