Summary: Their love journey has been through a lot of ups and downs stretched through the years. Broke-up, getting back together, leaving again to only return with regrets, just how many ups and downs should they encounter in total to attain the real happiness?

Chapter 3:

A good chance had finally arrived when Johnny-san announced to KAT-TUN that they would be having their debut soon, with the release of a new single, an album and a DVD, all at the same time. Everyone was ecstatic and keyed up over this debut which they have been waiting and waiting for years.

Their big day had arrived. Their show time was on.

Their debut single hit a million copies sales and everything was sailing well. Ueda proposed a celebration at his house to which everyone in KAT-TUN agreed and even asked NEWS along.

At the party, Ueda kept feeding Kame and Jin with lots and lots of alcoholic drinks. He wanted them to be honest to themselves since, well… there’s always a cliché that goes around saying that when a person is drunk, he or she will blurt out the most truthful heartfelt words kept at the bottom of their hearts. So, Ueda decided to put a bet on this.

But one thing Ueda did not expect was that, Jin and Kame could be that honest with one another.

All Ueda wanted was, just to record down what Kame and Jin would accidentally blurted out for their feelings to serve as evidence in case none of them wanted to admit, but who knows… everything was in hell loose of a control. As the alcohols gradually streamed into their blood, running in it silently in a fast speed, Jin and Kame soon got high and excited.

The moment they laid eyes on one another on the dance floor in the middle of the room with their friends scattered around, Jin started to pull Kame into his body and ravished his lips. And of course, that led to a make-out session in which no one could control and would want to control anyways.

So Ueda and the others could only do their ‘faithful part’ by pushing the two of them into a guestroom he had prepared and let them carried on with whatever they wanted to do in the room. He paused the recording right at the moment the door to the guestroom was shut.

Ueda gave out a sigh of defeat.

“At least they are being truthful to themselves, isn’t it? Though it isn’t expected to us…” Koki said to the other members, laughing.

“Yeah…”

“Of course…”

There came the various replies from the worn-out members and friends mixing with moans of pleasures floating out from the guestroom.

The next morning, Kame woke up to a scene of Jin’s angelic face right in front of him. Jin was still sleeping peacefully, with his breathing even. His arm was hung over Kame’s waist in a protective manner. He just looked so cute that Kame could only just smile at it.

His own naked body was snuggled up close to Jin’s naked body too, seeking for warmth and security.

How Kame loved this scene… He…

Hang on a second.

Naked?

This seemed wrong. It wasn’t supposed to be like this.

Kame’s eyes flew wide open and gave out a sudden yelp, springing out from Jin’s protective hold, successfully created a small, pathetic space between them.

Kazuya’s yelp caused Jin to stir, who rubbed on his eyes sleepily before fluttering them open and looked back at him accusingly. When realization finally hit Jin, shock was evident on his face too.

“I… You… We… What did we do last night?” Kame asked in a trembled voice, holding his head in his hands, not wanting to meet Jin’s gaze while at the same time, trying his best to recollect upon what had exactly happened last night.

“We, err… I think you could guess it too? Given that we are lying naked on the same bed now…” Jin answered with trepidation. He really was at a loss of what he should do.

“What?!” Kame shouted and hurried to get off from the bed, wincing at the pain from his back and he knew it.

Yes, he knew it.

They did it.

A sigh.

He snatched all his clothes and put them on fast before swinging the door open and hurried out to look for Ueda.

“Tat-chan!” Kame pounded hard on Ueda’s door. “TAT-CHAN! Open the door right now, please!”

Some grunting was heard from the other side of the room before the door was finally opened by an annoyed Ueda.

“What?” He barked out in irritation.

Kame swallowed hard, feeling guilty to wake his friend up at such a time and spoke up timidly. “Sorry, Tat-chan… but I just wanted to know what had happened last night.”

Ueda cast a glance at the disheveled Kame for a few long seconds before he gave his answer. “Last night?”

Kame nodded, swallowing the invisible lump he thought it formed in his throat again.

“Well, isn’t it obvious? Now I can finally announce that you and Jin are officially back together. Congratulations.” Ueda answered with a long yawn while stretching slightly.

“What!? We did not!” Kame shouted feeling astounded.

“You did not? Then who else did? You want to watch the video we recorded last night? That was the concrete evidence man.” Ueda stifled another yawn.

“But… but…” Kame didn’t know what he should say. What should he do now? How should he face Jin?

“Come on, Kame-chan, admit it. You still love Jin. And Jin thinks likewise like you too. So why not give yourselves another chance?”

“Tat-”

“Kame-chan, you are already up? How are you feeling?” Junno’s voice cut him off.

“Junno… good morning. I’m feeling fine, thanks.” Kame turned to Junno who came out from another room with a faded smile.

“I bet so too. I hope Jin wasn’t being too demanding last night.” Junno flashed him his high mega-waltz smile. Kame just wished that he could kill Junno right at that moment.

But he realized something.

Everything was real. Everything was true. They were authentic. They were not lies. Had Jin and he… really?

“Oh my God!” Kame yelled and flailed.

“Kazu…” Kame turned towards the owner of that familiar voice he knew by heart now. Jin standing by the guestroom they slept together in, stretching out his arms in front of him, welcoming him.

Everything happened too fast, too sudden, in Kame’s point of view. He had not yet been settled for returning back to Jin’s warm embrace. But it wasn’t a dream. It was real. He was really back with Jin.

Was Jin really the one for him? Could he place his happiness with Jin again? Could he ever trust Jin again? Could he really find his happiness?

All these thoughts flew out of his mind immediately when he found Jin’s strong arms wrapping himself into a safe hold.

“Jin…” He nuzzled his cheeks against the older man’s chest. Jin bowed his head down slightly to press a kiss on Kame’s temple lightly without another word.

He felt… safe. That was the only place in this whole, wide world that he actually wanted to be in, always, forever.

Promise me that whatever is going to take place in future, you’re not going to leave me. I have already lost you once; I don’t think I can bear it the second time. I will be crashed.
