( Chapter 1 ) 

Chapter 2:

The next morning, Kazuya arrived in school slightly later than Yamapi. The moment he arrived in the classroom, Yamapi jumped up and stood beside Kazuya’s seat and flapped his arms up and down while exclaiming “Good morning! Kameee-chaaan~ I heard that there is a transferred student transferring to our school today! I do hope that she will be in our class!”

“Morning, Pi. How can you be so sure it will be a girl?” Kazuya questioned when he was settling down in his seat.

“Come on~ it must be, based on Yamapi’s sixth sense! Probably she will also be a pretty sweet?” Yamapi went on exclaiming dreamily.   

Kazuya shot him a glare.

“O.. okay.. Maybe a cool guy then… for you.” Yamapi noticed and muttered as a matter-of-fact while softening his voice. Kazuya still have his glare at the poor Yamapi who gingerly strode back to his own seat.

Just then, Kimura-sensei stepped into the classroom. Yamapi felt that Lady Luck must be smiling at him because with Kimura-sensei entering meant he would be released from Kazuya's intense staring.

Kimura-sensei ordered everyone to return to their seat and get ready for the first lesson of the day. Behind him, a student with broad shoulders, flat stomach and a model-like build was trailing after. The said student stepped into the classroom, stood beside the lecturer desk with his gaze roaming around in a nervous way. His slightly wavy hair hang nicely, the tip vaguely touching his broad shoulders and a few strands of the bang was blocking a bit of his right eye. He stood tall and straight with a handsome face, smiling shyly. Whisperings began to be heard and everyone seemed excited.

“Ahem! Silence, please. Today, we have a new student who’s being transferred from a school in Okinawa. Please meet him, Akanishi Jin.” Kimura-sensei rattled after he placed his books onto the lecturer’s desk. “Akanishi-san, please introduce yourself to the class.”

Akanishi Jin nodded his head lightly and turned to face the whole class.

“Minna-san, konnichiwa! Akanishi Jin desu. Nice to meet you. Please kindly guide me along and let's be good friends from now on, ne?” Jin finished his last word with a gentle smile.

Kazuya twisted his head to his right, having troubles to control his laughter whilst staring at Yamapi who was looking sullenly and mumbling something incoherent.

“Okay! Akanishi-san, you will be sitting at the empty seat beside Kamenashi-san at the last row.” Jin crooked his head over and looked at where Kimura-sensei pointed to. At this right moment, two pair of eyes met with sparks penetrating each other. The sparks that started the whole journey for the two persons.

Jin bowed to Kimura-sensei and started to walk to the back of the room and smiled lightly at whoever greeted him along the way. He pulled out the chair beside Kazuya and exchanged smiles with Yamapi and Kazuya.

Lessons started subsequently.

‘Riiinnnggg’ this significant bell signaled that the break time has come. Almost all the students would proceed to the canteen to gather and buy food to eat. But Yamapi and Kazuya always make it a habit to make and bring their own bento box to eat. They would either stay in the classroom or to the rooftop or to somewhere not crowded. Somewhere tranquil is always their choice for their break. The two buddies sometimes, would even exchanged their bento to eat. And today was not any different either. Okay, maybe with a bit difference.

Jin turned timidly and cast a look at Kazuya who was now chatting with Yamapi, gathering their bento, preparing to leave the room anytime soon.

‘The moment our eyes met, I knew it. You are the only one for me.’ Jin cannot believe how effortless it was for Kazuya to sneak into his heart within a lightning of time. This was their first meeting and it happened just too fast.

Jin was still wondering whether he should strike up a conversation with Kazuya when the said person was already by the doorstep. Jin decided just to be brave for one time. So he plucked up his courage and started “Ano… Konnichiwa.. Akanishi Jin desu.”

“Yo yo yo~ Bakanishi~ Yamashita Tomohisa desu~ You can call me Yamapi or Pi.”

‘What!? What did this Pi guy just called me? How dare of him!’ But Jin decided that he should calm down and not show off his hot temper in front of his lover.. ahem, correction. Soon-to-be lover.

“Hey! It’s AKAnishi! A.K.A! Red colour. You PInk idiot!” Jin retorted.

Pi shrugged it off and replied casually while pointing his thumb to Kazuya who’s standing behind him. “I see. Bakanishi, this is Kamenashi Kazuya. You can call him Kame-chan. Kon! That’s it! Jaa!”

Without giving Kazuya the chance to reply, Yamapi practically dragged him out from the room. Jin pouted. Steam rises from above his head and he puffed out air from his nose but said nothing. ‘How come he is so hard to get along? Can’t he be like my soon-to-be lover? So gentle and amicable. Boo.’

“Oi! Pi! Stop dragging me! Let me speak to Jin too. And my arms hurt!” Kazuya shouted at Pi whilst trying to free his arms from Pi’s firm grab.

‘Jin? Did I hear wrongly? He just called me Jin! Oh my oh my~ im gonna faint..’ A chibi Jin was jumping around, squealing and mouthed ‘omedetou!’

Now it was Pi’s turn to sit in a small corner and pouted. He was famished, Kazuya knew. But Kazuya thought that it would be rude of him if he did not acknowledge Jin in a proper way. So he had to sacrifice Yamapi’s stomach for that.

Kazuya cleared his throat before speaking up. “J.. Jin? Can I call you that?” Jin nodded his head timidly and shyly. Then Kazuya smiled and continued “Konnichiwa~ Kamenashi Kazuya desu. You can just call me Kame. Do ignore Pi ne, b… bakanishi. Yoroshiku!” Kame smiled innocently yet sweetly at Jin, sticking out his tongue in a shy way, hoping to tease Jin without getting caught.

Jin was still lost in his own thoughts without realizing what Kazuya has just called him. ‘My name becomes so sweet when you are the one calling me, my dear sweetie~ Kame? Turtle? Shall I call you Turtie? No… that sounds like ‘dirty’. Boo. Aha! I can call you Kazu-chan!  Yaadaa na….’ Then he grinned and beamed to himself, lost in his own reverie, apparently ignoring the presence of the other two.

Just then, Kazuya patted on Jin’s shoulders which caused him to jump and broke out from his reverie. “H.. hai.. bak… akanis.. aarrgh.. Jin desu! Yoropi… Yoroshiku!” ‘Gosh! Why am I stuttering? It’s so embarrassing.’

Kazuya chuckled and nodded shyly but couldn’t cover up his laughing at Jin. 

Pi looked up from his hiding form and mocked “Ooi.. Bakanishi, why can Kame-chan called you that and I can’t!? You even acknowledged your new name just only! Kon!” Pi stuck out his tongue and smirked mockingly.

“Tsk. Did I?” Jin turned away but slapped himself on his face because he knew he did. ‘Because you are not Kamenashi Kazuya. Duh!’

“Haha.. Alright. Then Jin, do you want to join us for our break?” Kazuya asked.

“Yeah, sure! I brought my own bento box too!” Jin beamed and flashed the said box to the other two boys. Then the trio walked out and set off for the rooftop. Being daring for once was already courageous enough but now, Jin was even more daring for a second time in the same day to drape his right arm over Kazuya’s shoulders as they walked out, causing Yamapi to stomp his feet on the hard floor a few times.

At the same point of time, three different persons were experiencing three different kinds of feelings. Yamapi was busying stomping his feet along with puffing his air of anger out. Jin was gleefully draping his arm over Kazuya’s lean shoulders. Kazuya felt something rather amazing arising in his heart. Fast. But he couldn’t explain what kind of feeling was that. He only knew that it’s a new feeling whirling within him.

I wonder how we'd be living now.
Would we still be sharing our dreams and worries with our simple feelings?
